Family Room Moodboard & Loloi Rugs on Sale for Amazon Prime Day!

Our latest project is underway and today I’m sharing the moodboard and inspiration for it! I’ve had some colors and styles in mind for this room for a while but couldn’t quite nail down the specifics. I decided to start my design by picking a rug that had the red and blue tones in it that I had in mind. I landed on the ‘Billie rug’ in the Ocean/Brick from the Loloi x Amber Lewis Collection. I love the muted reds and the navy blues incorporated in this modern traditional rug style. Here is a close-up. Isn’t she Beautiful? 🙂

And now for my mood board inspiration. This room will be our TV-watching hangout as well as our home gym and kids’ play space. I haven’t quite nailed down the specifics but we plan to do builtins to add tons of storage and I’m thinking of painting them a soft muted red. 🙂 On the gym/play side I would love to make a small climbing wall and add some monkey bars that my kids can play on during cold winter days.
